Due to the safes varying greatly in weight, there are different ways in which they will be delivered to you. Please see below further detail on all available services.
On each product page you will see a 'Delivery Info' tab with a detailed breakdown of services currently available for that particular safe.
Nearly all of the safes sent to you on a 'Kerbside Delivery' service will be sent to you directly from the manufacturer Chubbsafes. Based on the weight and courier company used, different delivery and tracking information will be made available to you.
Free Kerbside Delivery (with every Chubbsafe!)
- Free to UK mainland addresses only
- Delivery on a Monday to Friday basis
- Delivery within 3 to 5 working days
- Standard delivery times are 9am - 5pm
This is a Drop-off Only Delivery Service: The safe will be couried to your property on a pallet. They will deliver as close to the door step as possible barring any obstructions or steps
IMPORTANT NOTE: Delivery drivers are not obliged to assist you getting the safe off the pallet or delivering it inside your property.
A Drop Off / Kerbside delivery is the quickest way we can ship the products to you. Items weighing less than 20kg will be sent via FedEx. Safes that are 21kg+ will be sent via a pallet delivery company.
In the eventuality that there are steps to negotiate to your front door, the delivery driver will make every attempt to deliver as close to the door step as possible. However please note that negotiating steps and gravel driveways with pallet trucks & heavy safes can prove to be extremely difficult, and may result in the safe being delivered on the kerbside if present.

Position Delivery Service (Non-fixing)
On the Ground Floor of Property. Our experienced delivery team will deliver & position the safe to a ground floor location of your choosing.

- Delivery on a Monday to Friday basis
- Delivery lead time within 7 to 10 working days
A position delivery is where a specialist delivery crew will take the safe or product into your property and situate it on a ground floor location. Allowing for 2 steps into or within the property, the crew will demount the item from the pallet, unwrap all packaging and place in your desired location. This service can also be provided for the same price to an upper floor should a suitable lift be available.

Bolt-Down Installation (Fixed to concrete floor)
On the Ground Floor of Property. Our dedicated team of professional installers will deliver & install the safe to a ground floor location and bolt down into concrete.

An installation service will result in the safe being bolted to the floor or walls, dependent on the available fixing points offered by the individual product and the material we can use to install the safe. The best material for a safe to be fixed to and the most commonly approved by insurance companies, is concrete.
Similar to a position delivery, a ground floor installation will allow, on most occasions, for access or negotiation of 2 steps.

Standard ground floor installation consists of a bolt down service into a concrete floor. Should underfloor heating or pipes be present in the property this may prevent the bolt down being complete. Please advise our sales agents if underfloor heating or exposed pipes are located in the area you wish to install your safe.
Specialist Installation / Delivery (Upper Floor via Stairs)
With our own in house crew (a rarity for online safe sellers) we can accommodate every type of delivery situation. For installation or position deliveries via stairs, further information is required to raise a quote for the service.

Next Working Day Deliveries (Price on Request)
Certain products under 20kg, can be delivered on a next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm. If contact details are provided, you will receive tracking information via SMS messages or emails, advising of a ETA on the morning of the delivery.
Scottish Highlands, Islands and Extremities
Purchases being delivered to the Scottish Highlands, the Isles, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland will have additional delivery costs incurred dependent on the service required. In order to provide you with the most accurate price please contact us HERE>

Timed Delivery & Tracking Information
Due to the variety of delivery companies used there is naturally a number of different ways in which they track and notify on expected times of delivery.
Nearly all products weighing less than 20kgs will be sent via a trackable delivery method from FedEx or UkMail and if a mobile number is provided with your order an SMS will be sent on the day of delivery indicating a 1 hour window the delivery will be made.
Position and installation services will be completed within a 7-10 working days from the date of the order and will be booked in with a phone call or email to advise of the delivery date.
Position and installation services are conducted from 8am onwards Monday – Friday. Following an order, customers will be provided with a delivery or installation slot (morning or afternoon) at the earliest opportunity. Our engineers will always call on the day to advise of a more accurate ETA.
Abandoned Orders – Position or Installation deliveries
In the event of a failed or abandoned order (potentially due to incorrect delivery information provided at the time of the order) an additional charge will be incurred for the attempted delivery. Examples where an abandoned order may occur are:
Information provided on the amount of steps into or within a building
Parking or delivery vehicle access issues
Unusable or unsuitable lift
Difference in flooring material stated.
Orders placed on Saturday & Sunday
Please note all orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on the next working day – stock dependent as this may change over the course of the weekend.
Returns & Refunds
Chubbsafes Online aim to always provide high quality goods that are undamaged and fault free. On occasion however, we understand that goods may need to be returned.
This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.
Purchases may be returned to Chubbsafes Online for a refund by emailing us at sales@chubbsafesonline.co.uk or contacting us through our contact us page.
Returns are subject to the following conditions:
· No returns will be accepted without prior notification
- All products must be returned in their original packaging with all manuals and accessories, unused, and must be in ‘as new’ condition. With some drop off deliveries this includes being strapped back to the pallet for shipping purposes.
- Refund of items listed as 'free delivery' will include a deduction of the original delivery costs incurred by us. This will be no more than 20% of individual product price PLUS any surcharge for delivery to a location outside UK mainland.
- Goods shall be returned to Chubbsafes Online or their named agent. Any postage and packing costs incurred on returned items are for the buyer’s account and are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless the items are faulty or damaged.
- Please allow up to 31 days for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.
- Professional installation or bespoke modifications are not refundable.
- Some returned items are subject to up a maximum 25% restock charge. This percentage is at our discretion.
Replacements
